CONFERENTION

17^th May at 10-00 in cooperation with Swedish Association of Occupational Therapists (FSA) Russian Association of Ergotherapy (RAET organising First Russian Egotherapy conferention.

TASHKENT PROJECT

RAET starting cource «Introduction to occupational Therapy» in RC CSA Tashkent city for wide range of specialists working in rehabilitation and ablitation.

Russian Association of Ergotherapy (RAET) -

based in 2001 with support of FSA (Forbundet Sveriges Arbetsterapeuter) and World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT).

RAET is the first Russian organisation uniting people graduated as ergotherapists. Main purpose of organisation is establishing and promoting of Occupational Therapy in Russia as full-time profession and educating of new specialists.

Since 1999 Faculty of Postgradueded Education of St.Petersburg State Mechnicov Academy supported by Swedish Federation of Occupational Therapy has provided education of Ergotherpapiststs. This is 2 years programm and correspond to WFOT Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.

Today 26 specialists has graduated and work sucesfully in rehabilitation and abilitation centres of St.Petersburg and Area proving efficiency and effectiveness of theese methods in recovery treatment.
